Child Health Collaborative Grant

The Child Health Collaborative Grant is designed to support a collaborative project that addresses an important and unmet child health issue within communities across Minnesota.

Applications focused on the following areas are particularly encouraged:

  1. Children’s mental health issues
  2. Health disparities
  3. Prevention of gun violence
  4. Substance abuse disorder
  5. Sexuality and gender identity.


Other proposals that focus on child and adolescent health that are not specifically described above are also encouraged, and will be reviewed by the same selection committee.

The proposal must involve at least two co-principal investigators: one from Children's Minnesota and one from the University of Minnesota (any of the five campuses). Proposals of up to $75,000 will be considered.

The Child Health Collaborative Grant is a collaboration among CTSI, Children’s Minnesota, and the University of Minnesota’s Department of Pediatrics.
